The skins from opened cases do not disappear if the game crashes at the moment of the case opening. When a case is opened, the items from the case are placed into your inventory.

 

Please look through the loadout menu carefully, a single new skin can be easy to miss.

 

The game crashing will never remove your skin or credits.
