This section gives short information about which ranks can be matched with each other during a ranked defuse match.

At the moment, the following list is used by the matchmaking:

The maximum Matchmaking Rating difference for two Party Members is 210. If it goes above 210, players will not be able to Party Together.

*Please note that Gold and Platinum players cannot group together. This is the only exception to the list above.

Range shows the rank and the rating shows which ratings that specific rank will be allowed to play with. The +-1 Rank rule applies to all of the ranks except for Gold.

After the ranked match is finished, the ranks are immediately updated and players can inspect the updated ranks. This can sometimes create confusion as players may think that they have not been matched with equally skilled enemies. Please be aware that the ranks inspected will also reflect demotions/promotions.
